Is silk really better for your hair than other materials?

Yes, silk is better for your hair because its smooth surface reduces friction, preventing breakage, frizz, and split ends. Unlike cotton, it doesn’t absorb moisture, keeping your hair hydrated and shiny. Silk also helps prevent creases and is gentle on all hair types. While satin offers similar benefits, silk’s natural properties make it a top choice for healthier, smoother hair.

 

What is the quality of silk used for your scrunchies?

We use 6A grade 22 momme Mulberry silk for our scrunchies to ensure that our scrunchies are the best quality. 

 

What size are your scrunchies?

Our oversized scrunchies have a 12 cm diameter. We have designed them to be bigger than a regular sized scrunchie to be able to hold thick hair in place all day!

 

How should i care for my Luxie Silk products?
Silk is a delicate material and should be handled with care. Avoid getting wet and always be gentle with the fabric.  If washing is needed handwashing is prefered.
